Resources to use in the Classroom
There are many excellent fiction resources that focus on adolescents living with physical disabilities. Accidents of Nature is a fiction novel by Harriet McBryde Johnson that tell the story of a 17 year old girl with cerebral palsy. This book would be great for a junior or senior high students as an ongoing honoring diversity activity to encourage students to think about their beliefs.
